A prayer for our County and our people

Lord God Almighty, as we pause to reverence and honor your name, acknowledge your power, and to thank and praise you for the salvation you have available for those of us who have asked for your forgiveness of our sins, we again renew our request for forgiveness this day. Be in our presence today as the guiding force of truth and hope, and in response to our petitions deliver us from evil people and evil events, and surround us with Godly people. Protect us in our hour of need and let us each help others who need assistance in their time of trial.

We pray for our county. Times are hard for many and many have had to leave. You have seen the affliction and we pray that you will soon provide the answers and direction. Bless Mingo County and our people Lord with your favor. Bless our people Lord with wisdom and knowledge and understanding and your unmerited favor so that we may prosper as a favored people in your sight. Through the leaders you allow to govern, turn our county and people into the blessed path of righteousness and away from all unrighteousness.

We surrender our futures into your divine hand and ask that you lead and we shall follow.
